Voice output availability can differ by mode (AI Enhanced Voice vs Browser Voice Playback), but text translation and captions cover the full language list.

STT (Speech-to-Text)
The language your speaker is talking in. InterScribe listens first and turns speech into text.
TTS (Text-to-Speech)
Spoken audio generated from text. In InterScribe this can be AI voice translation or browser playback.
TTS (Browser Voice Playback)
Voice played by the attendee browser/device voice library. This varies by browser and operating system.

Enterprise option: if your organization needs languages not listed here, Enterprise plans can include expanded language coverage based on your rollout requirements.
How we detect browser voice playback
This page checks your current browser voice list in real time using Web Speech voice detection.
Exact means the same language code was found (example: es-MX). Compatible means the base language matched (example: es).
Results can differ between Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, and between devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
Many attendees have additional voices installed or device-language settings that unlock voices not currently detected in your browser session, so this list is a live best-effort view for this device.
Translation quality tiers
Built to help teams choose launch languages confidently based on what is officially supported by our cloud partners and our own quality reviews.
High quality: best choice for broad rollout. These languages are officially supported by our cloud partners and are prioritized for consistent production use.
Medium quality: good for pilot or phased rollout. These languages may still work well, but we recommend testing with your real speakers and terminology before scaling.
Low quality: reserved for languages our team has explicitly flagged as lower-confidence based on our own event experience and our customers.
Your team can continuously refine this tiering over time as you gather real usage and quality feedback.
Audio input support
InterScribe supports live microphone/system audio capture in the browser for real-time sessions.
Uploaded audio keeps its original content type in the current upload pipeline.
Global device/browser voice reference list
This reference is intentionally broad and reflects potential cross-platform voice availability. Actual attendee coverage still depends on each device/browser and installed voice packs.
